You can ask us to delete your data at any time, and we will. This page explains how to ask, what gets deleted, what we cannot delete and why, and how long it takes.
How to request deletion
Write to contact@plugo.lat from the email address associated with your Plugo account, with the subject "Data deletion request". If you are writing from a different address, tell us which account you mean so we can verify it belongs to you before deleting anything.
You do not need an account to make a request. If you messaged a business that uses Plugo and want that conversation removed, write to the same address and tell us the phone number you messaged from. See the last section for how those requests work.
What we delete
- Your Plugo account and profile, and your business profile.
- The credentials for every advertising or messaging account you connected, so our access to them ends.
- The advertising data we copied from those accounts to analyze it — campaigns, ad groups and ad sets, ads, creative assets, performance figures, and search terms.
- The recommendations, strategies and creative drafts Plugo generated for you.
- Any WhatsApp Business conversations we processed on your behalf, where you are the business.
What we do not delete, and why
Data in your own advertising accounts stays where it is. Plugo reads from accounts you own on Google, Meta and other platforms. Deleting your Plugo data removes our copy and our access — it does not delete anything inside your Google Ads or Meta account. Those platforms have their own deletion processes.
We also retain the minimum records we are legally required to keep, such as billing and tax records, for as long as the law requires. These are not used for any other purpose.
How long it takes
We confirm receipt within 72 hours and complete deletion within 30 days. If a request takes longer — because it is unusually large or we need to verify your identity — we will tell you why and when to expect it, rather than leaving you waiting.
If you messaged a business, not us
If you contacted a business over WhatsApp and that business uses Plugo, the conversation belongs to you and to them. We process it on their instructions, not our own. The most direct route is to ask that business to delete it. You can also write to us and we will act on the request for the copy we hold and let the business know it was made.
